Hello, I am Debbie Holder, the proud owner and clinical lead of Occupational Health Services Ltd. I'm a qualified specialist nurse practitioner in Occupational Health, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and member of the Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM).
With my experience of the corporate world from having OH roles at The Railways, Bupa Occupational Health and GlaxoSmithKline, I knew there was a real need for a provider who was able to offer a personal bespoke and professional approach to providing OH services, and that’s why in 2009 I founded Occupational Health Services Ltd.
Quality service, good communication and a warm and approachable style is what makes us stand out. Anyone who knows me knows that I have unrelenting standards and that my mission to deliver the very best to my clients and their employees is what drives me and my team. I pride myself on being able to put people at ease, which is particularly beneficial for complex cases such as mental health cases, of which I have vast experience. The real success of my approach is to rapidly develop rapport, to enable genuine communication to make an effective assessment and provide clear and practical advice to managers on how to support their employees’ health at work.
Based in St Albans, I manage our small team of clinicians, who provide services to local businesses in Herts, Beds, Bucks and London, and virtually throughout the UK, across all industry sectors. I particularly enjoy working with SMEs because I understand the complex needs and demands of their business and the significant impact that ill-health and absence can make on them.
